The Dive Rite Thigh Pocket attaches to a harness waist strap with a pinch clip which keeps the pocket at the right height, a super grippy elastic strap then goes around a divers thigh which is also secure with a pinch clip, in the way the pocket can be attached just before getting in the water to make kitting up easier. The Thigh Pocket is closed by means of a large velcro flap which is much easier to operate in cold water than a zip. Inside the main compartment is a daisy chain, popular with climbers and mountaineers as it provides and easy way to organise and store gear.
